POVERTY: THE FLAME OF THE HEROES TO COOK.

In Russia, a pochi chilometri dalla capitale Mosca, si trova la città di Puškino.

Una donna pensionata di Puškino che si trova in stato di estrema povertà e disagio si è ritrovata senza gas né elettricità ed ha così cucinato una frittata sulla fiamma perenne ai caduti, di fronte al monumento “Madre Addolorata”.

Subito segnalata alla polizia, la donna ha risposto agli agenti intervenuti di aver bisogno di piatti caldi, di vivere senza elettricità e senza gas di casa.

La donna è stata fermata dalla polizia ed accusata di vilipendio delle salme dei caduti e profanazione del luogo di sepoltura. Un'accusa grave che le fa rischiare una multa di circa 400 euro più 360 ore di lavori pubblici o l’arresto per 3 mesi.

La povera pensionata non ha da pagare, evidentemente, e le sue privazioni non sono un crimine: le serve un aiuto contro il bisogno, non il carcere.

La povertà è ormai globale e la sofferenza di questa donna è solo una lacrima nell'oceano di bisogno e di disagio che affligge il popolo.

Fino a che l'amore del potere non sarà sconfitto dal potere dell'Amore non potrà esserci vera Pace.

Non voltiamoci dall'altra parte: gli "altri" potremmo essere noi!

In Russia, a few kilometers from the capital Moscow, is the city of Pushkino.

A retired woman from Puškino who is in a state of extreme poverty and hardship found herself without gas or electricity and thus cooked an omelette over the perennial flame for the fallen, in front of the “Mother of Sorrows” monument.

Immediately reported to the police, the woman replied to the intervening agents that she needed hot dishes, to live without electricity and without home gas.

The woman was stopped by the police and accused of insulting the bodies of the fallen and desecrating the burial site. A serious accusation that makes her risk a fine of about 400 euros plus 360 hours of public works or arrest for 3 months.

The poor pensioner has no pay, evidently, and her deprivations are not a crime: she needs help against need, not prison.

Poverty is now global and the suffering of this woman is only a tear in the ocean of need and discomfort that afflicts the people.

Until the love of power is defeated by the power of Love, there can be no true Peace.

Let's not turn the other way: the "others" could be us!
