IL DRAMMA DELLA GUERRA SONO I PROFUGHI BAMBINI

Il 24 febbraio Putin ordina l'invasione dell'Ucraina e le bombe russe sulle città e sulle case cambiano quello che era stato il nostro mondo fatto di una pace che, seppure nell'imperfezione delle nostre democrazie, aveva garantito i diritti umani e la costruzione di una giustizia sociale materiale diffusa. Ora quel mondo non esiste più: la distruzione e la morte portata dalla guerra di aggressione di Putin colpisce l'Ucraina ma disperde la sua polvere letale su tutta l'Europa. In soli 13 giorni di conflitto un fiume umano di profughi fatto soprattutto di donne e bambini si è riversato ad occidente, in Europa e sono più di 1 milione e mezzo le persone che hanno varcato i confini aperti per accoglierli.

E tu, e noi che cosa facciamo di concreto per offrire conforto ai profughi che fuggono dalla guerra cinica e barbaramente sanguinosa voluta da Putin?

On February 24, Putin orders the invasion of Ukraine and the Russian bombs on cities and houses change what our world had been made of a peace that, even if in the imperfection of our democracies, had guaranteed human rights and construction of a widespread material social justice. Now that world no longer exists: the destruction and death brought about by Putin's war of aggression hits Ukraine but scatters its lethal dust all over Europe. In just 13 days of conflict, a human river of refugees made up mainly of women and children has poured into the West, in Europe and more than 1.5 million people have crossed the open borders to welcome them.

And you, and we, what are we actually doing to offer comfort to the refugees fleeing the cynical and barbarously bloody war wanted by Putin?
