STOP to the Children Soldiers: people's teaches peace and not the war!

I bambini soldato sono tantissimi, utilizzati in Somalia, in Sudan, in Yemen come in moltissimi altri conflitti: i più deboli sono le prime vittime ed i bambini privati dell'infanzia, gli adolescenti privati della speranza sono il primo crimine dei 'signori della guerra'.

Ma non solo l'Africa o l'Asia sono le terre lontane dove si consuma questa inaccettabile barbarie. I bambini e gli adolescenti sono vittime della guerra anche in Europa.

Gli scontri etnici dei Balcani, la guerra di aggressione russa in Ucraina hanno armato i più giovani sostituendo nei loro cuori e nelle loro menti l'amore per la vita con l'odio per il prossimo.

E questa barbarie diventa materia scolastica, insegnamento di nazionalismo malato, contaminazione virale e letale della gioventù che viene privata della speranza in cambio di un'arma da impugnare.

Potremo salvarci solo con la militanza attiva, solo con la consapevolezza che l'abuso del potere è solo violenza e la propaganda solo veleno per l'anima.

Nelle scuole di Putin oggi si insegna l'odio nazionalista contro l'Ucraina e contro l'Europa ma sarebbe sufficiente che i russi si ricordassero di Gagarin e delle sue parole pronunciate il 12 Aprile 1961 quando per la prima volta, nella storia del mondo, un essere umano guardava il nostro pianeta dallo spazio. E spontaneamente, al di fuori di ogni retorica o contrapposizione in piena Guerra fredda, lo descriveva com’è nella realtà: "Da quassù la Terra è bellissima, senza frontiere né confini».

CHILD SOLDIERS ARE A CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY

There are many child soldiers, used in Somalia, Sudan, Yemen as in many other conflicts: the weakest are the first victims and children deprived of childhood, adolescents deprived of hope are the first crime of the 'warlords' '.

But not only Africa or Asia are the distant lands where this unacceptable barbarism takes place. Children and adolescents are also victims of war in Europe.

The ethnic clashes of the Balkans, the war of Russian aggression in the Ukraine have armed the youngest by replacing love of life with hatred of one's neighbor in their hearts and minds.

And this barbarity becomes a school subject, teaching sick nationalism, viral and lethal contamination of youth who are deprived of hope in exchange for a weapon to wield.

We will be able to save ourselves only with active militancy, only with the awareness that the abuse of power is only violence and propaganda is only poison for the soul.

In Putin's schools today nationalist hatred against Ukraine and against Europe is taught, but it would be enough for Russians to remember Gagarin and his words spoken on April 12, 1961 when for the first time in the history of the world, a human being watched our planet from space. And spontaneously, without any rhetoric or opposition in the midst of the Cold War, he described it as it is in reality: "From up here the Earth is beautiful, without frontiers or boundaries".
