OUATTARA VORREBBE UNA "REPUBBLICA FEUDALE" IN COSTA D'AVORIO.

In Costa D’Avorio, il prossimo 31 ottobre, si svolgeranno le elezioni presidenziali, in un clima che sta diventando sempre più teso. Infatti una serie di proteste stanno attraversando il Paese, dopo la decisione del presidente, Alassane Ouattara, di candidarsi per un terzo mandato, nonostante la Costituzione preveda un limite di soli due mandati.

Per di più l'alternativa democratica è stata impedita incarcerando o eliminando gli esponenti dell'opposizione: su 44 candidati ne sono stati ammessi soltanto quattro e questo quindi contribuirà indubbiamente ad aumentare le tensioni in un Paese che ha dei trascorsi di guerra civile importanti e che avrebbe quindi bisogno di stabilità, di certezze e di fiducia, stando a quanto chiede gran parte della popolazione.

Intanto le violenze e la repressione alla libera voce popolare rendono sempre meno legittime le elezioni e la candidatura di del "presidente per sempre" Ouattara.

Il WPF sostiene la Pace e la Giustizia Sociale contro ogni abuso e violenza del potere e chiede la fine della repressione delle opposizioni in Costa d'Avorio.

OUATTARA AIMERAIT UNE "RÉPUBLIQUE FÉUDALE" EN CÔTE D'IVOIRE.

Les élections présidentielles auront lieu en Côte d'Ivoire le 31 octobre, dans un climat de plus en plus tendu. En fait, une série de manifestations déferle sur le pays, après la décision du président, Alassane Ouattara, de se présenter pour un troisième mandat, alors que la constitution ne prévoyait qu'une limite de deux mandats.

De plus, l'alternative démocratique a été empêchée en emprisonnant ou en éliminant des membres de l'opposition: sur 44 candidats, seuls quatre ont été admis et cela contribuera donc sans aucun doute à accroître les tensions dans un pays qui a une importante histoire de guerre civile et qui aurait donc un besoin de stabilité, de certitude et de confiance, selon ce que demande une grande partie de la population.

Pendant ce temps, la violence et la répression de la voix libre du peuple rendent de moins en moins légitimes les élections et la candidature du «président pour toujours» Ouattara.

Le WPF soutient Paix et Justice Sociale contre tout abus et violence de pouvoir et appelle à la fin de la répression de l'opposition en Côte d'Ivoire.

UATTARA WOULD LIKE A "FEUDAL REPUBLIC" IN THE IVORY COAST.

Presidential elections will take place in the Ivory Coast on October 31st, in a climate that is becoming increasingly tense. In fact, a series of protests are sweeping the country, after the decision of the president, Alassane Ouattara, to run for a third term, despite the constitution providing for a limit of only two terms.

Furthermore, the democratic alternative was prevented by jailing or eliminating opposition members: out of 44 candidates only four were admitted and this will therefore undoubtedly contribute to increasing tensions in a country that has an important civil war history and that would have therefore a need for stability, certainty and trust, according to what a large part of the population is asking.

Meanwhile, the violence and repression of the free voice of the people make the elections and the candidacy of the "president forever" Ouattara less and less legitimate.

The WPF supports Peace and Social Justice against any abuse and violence of power and calls for an end to the repression of the opposition in the Ivory Coast.
