La colpa della giornalista Svetlana Prokopyeva è stato scrivere di un'esplosione avvenuta nel 2018 davanti alla sede di un'agenzia dei servizi di sicurezza russa a Mosca. Per l'atto è stato accusato un giovane 17enne. La giornalista ha collegato nel suo articolo il movente del gesto con il clima politico del Paese: per questo è stata accusata di giustificare il terrorismo.

Accuse ingiustificate di questo genere sono un'offesa alla libertà di stampa ed al diritto democratico dell'opposizione alla ricerca della verità.

The fault of the journalist Svetlana Prokopyeva was to write about an explosion that took place in 2018 in front of the headquarters of a Russian security services agency in Moscow.
